“Join us this Earth Day to send a clear message: Our NYC Mayor must stand up to Trump, protect migrants, and fight for our planet. Together, we can build a New York that works for all of us—not for the tech and the Big Oil elite. We demand: 1) ICE Out of New York. Stop collaborating with ICE and protect our immigrant communities. New York must remain a sanctuary for all. 2) New York Out of Fossil Fuels. Commit to a rapid, just transition to 100% renewable energy. No new fossil fuel infrastructure, and divest from fossil fuels now. New Yorkers won’t back down. We need a Mayor who won’t either.

“Únete a nosotros este Día de la Tierra para enviar un mensaje claro: nuestro alcalde de Nueva York debe enfrentarse a Trump, proteger a los migrantes y luchar por nuestro planeta. Juntos, podemos construir un Nueva York que funcione para todos nosotros, no para las grandes élites y multimillonarios. Nuestras demandas: 1) ICE fuera de Nueva York. La ciudad de Nueva York debe comprometerse a no colaborar con ICE y proteger a nuestras comunidades inmigrantes. Nueva York debe seguir siendo un santuario para todos. 2) Nueva York fuera de la industria petrolera. Nueva York debe comprometerse con una transición rápida y justa hacia una energía 100% renovable. La ciudad debe renunciar a nuevas infraestructuras de gas o petróleo y comprometerse a no invertir en la industria petrolera que destruye nuestro planeta. Los neoyorquinos no vamos pa’ atrá ni para coger impulso. Necesitamos un alcalde que tampoco lo haga.”
