Daylight: A Discussion of New York City's Skyscraper Jails

"Daylight" is a film about the demolition/construction/design of jails on a site in Manhattan.

"Skyscraper Jails" is a book about the political history of the jails currently being built throughout New York City, written by Jarrod Shanahan and Zhandarka Kurti.

We will be discussing the film and the book and architecture and language on March 26th in Another World, 629 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn from 6-8pm. I would love to see you there :)
